VectorVictor
Was flipping channels and came across Jeff Zelney on the 'Daily Rundown' show on MSNBC, and apparently he's a Nebraska grad, because in the 'shameless plugs' section, he gave a shout-out to the Wisconsin/Nebraska game as the best game of the week. Then Chuck Todd (host) said it may be good, but it won't measure up to the upcoming 'Farmageddeon' game later this year, to which Zelney disagreed. So, doing a search, apparently UN-L has a bigshot political wonk in Washington from Exeter, NE done good: http://www.pbs.org/weta/washingtonweek/panelist/Jeff-Zeleny And let's keep the politics out--just wanted to note the shout-out we got on national TV. I'll try to find a video of it if such a creature exists online. Quote Link to comment

I'm thinking they were using that in reference to the upcoming Iowa/Nebraska tilt. And IIRC, Chuck Todd is a Miami (FL) grad, so he's pretty much looking for a new bandwagon to hop on. CNBC had him on to discuss the Miami story in a panel. Quote Link to comment
