Pretty good article regarding the big recruiting weekend we are currently entering. LOVE JP's attitude regarding recruiting soooo much more than Gilmore's complacent, no public enthusiasm approach.

I to like the attitude as well. Time will tell how well it works for NU. What I like more though, is the consistent statements made about a "no B.S." recruiting message. Sure Nebraska will lose some talent to the night life of places like southbeach and L.A., But when the coaches and players can get guys on board even with out those incentives, then more often than not that player is focused on the important parts of being a student athlete. Like being a student and an athlete first, and an out of control college age party animal last.

this new recruiting approach, combined with the expectations of our guys, leads to less trouble off the field. You recruit guys to nightlife cities, they go out and enjoy the nightlife. You recruit guys with honesty and integrity, less nightlife problems. Granted there are still coeds and bars in every college town...

Hope we get that Brandon Beaver kid, we are really low in good cornerbacks, reason why are secondary is sucking
