Excel
Nebraska has never lost to Northwestern. That won't change this year. Actually they have lost to Northwestern It doesn't count if they were still wearing leather helmets. Well in that case they're undefeated Quote Link to comment

motorboatjonesNU
Fact of the day 31 October 2011: In celebration of Halloween: Nebraska is 15-1 in games played on the 31st of October with an average score of 21-8...oh and their only loss was to... the TEXAS LONGHORNS 1998. Broke our home winning streak that started after the 1991 Washington loss. Ricky Williams won the Heisman that year, IIRC, and Major Applewhite (3rd best college football ever name behind Major Ogilvy and Wonder Monds) threw the winning TD as he got blasted by a D-Lineman. Applewhite suffered a concussion on that play. We still cheered them as they walked off the field. Quote Link to comment
tschu
haha yea, it'll probably end Saturday but they should really tie it into the game somehow, make it a rivalry. Ha, that'll be about as much of a rivalry as Nebraska-Kansas Quote Link to comment
tschu
Major Applewhite (3rd best college football ever name behind Major Ogilvy and Wonder Monds) Screw Texas and all, but Fozzy Whittaker is a badass name too. Quote Link to comment

knapplc
JonNyatawaNorthwestern's allowing a league-high 15.4 yds per completion. And in 5 Big Ten games, NW opponents have 22 pass plays of 20+ yds Quote Link to comment
Excel
I'm slowly running out of ideas to reserach so I'll open my free time up to suggestions that you all don't feel like studying...shoot away In the meantime I simulated 2010 Northwestern at 2010 NU 10 times (with Saturday's forcast) here and got the following scores... 1. 32-30 UNL 2. 38-9 UNL 3. 51-14 UNL 4. 34-9 UNL 5. 47-10 UNL 6. 38-13 UNL 7. 27-13 UNL 8. 20-13 UNL 9. 44-9 UNL 10. 31-17 UNL Granted its 2010 but I think the teams are similar enough. Also NU is 32-8-2 against other schools beginning with "N" Quote Link to comment
