Fact of the day 31 October 2011:

 

In celebration of Halloween: Nebraska is 15-1 in games played on the 31st of October with an average score of 21-8...oh and their only loss was to... the TEXAS LONGHORNS

1998. Broke our home winning streak that started after the 1991 Washington loss. Ricky Williams won the Heisman that year, IIRC, and Major Applewhite (3rd best college football ever name behind Major Ogilvy and Wonder Monds) threw the winning TD as he got blasted by a D-Lineman. Applewhite suffered a concussion on that play.

 

We still cheered them as they walked off the field.

1. 32-30 UNL

Granted its 2010 but I think the teams are similar enough.
