okay how tough is the schedule next year? ( If we were not in the big ten?) Wisconsin will be down, msu will be down. Michigan will probally come in as a even match or a 2 point favorite. Osu will definitely be favored next year. PSU is in shambles. Remember how we ripped on the big ten for being weak and now we call it tough? Also for you guys that say spell check. I graduated 419 out of 436 in my highschool class. So yes I rode the little bus. I flunked 7th grade. ( Blessed sacrament nuns/ them bitches) The 90s are not coming back. So we might as well get on the big ten ( we play for the roseses band wagon) and accept it or go for broke and go for the national titles and hope to be there at the end of the race is all. Geuss my 20s spoiled me. hell my teens did also. I think nebraska lost what 3 national tilte games in the 80s?

Uh Michigan a 2 pt favorite? Ummm uh uh uh ummm....NO! As the dog lies. I see Michigan as a 8 pt favorite.

Good for you, well see how both teams are doing when we get to that game. Robinson could be out for the year Taylor could be hurt, long way away.

true, but it's more likely Robinson will be in the hunt for the Heisman, Michigan will be fielding one of the most dominant defenses in CFB (i think people WAY overlook Michigan's defense), and Taylor/Nebraska will still be relying on Rex 30-35 plays a game.

I also read last year that Nebraska's Defense was going to be very dominant as well and we all saw how that turned out. I don't disagree with what you are saying, just think we need to see what's out on the field before we assume who's going to this and who's going to be that....

I don't know how much more difficult you want to make the schedule. We are already playing ten bowl teams out of 11 games, including three conference champions. Let's take a page out of Alabama's playbook. Their non-con was pathetic, and they won the championship. Let's schedule that Ga. Southern bye week in November so that we can rest up for the stretch run; it worked for the Tide.

I think as fans we half/ass dictate what the admin schedules. How about this stop being pussies and stop bitching at the coaches and schedule a team that means something. I think boise st and especially fresnos st can be colleges we can follow. OOOOOOOhhhhh boyy we won 9 games this year. Well no chit. we played alabama st, ucla, SOUTHEAST/CREIGHTON PREP HIGHSCHOOL/ sTART SCHEDULING SOME TOP TIER SCHOOLS RATHER WIN OR LOSE IT WILL ATTRACT ATHELETES. Just do not get down on the coaches for the players turning the ball over. Unless the coaches are teaching how to turn the ball over. Then Nebraska turns into a school that 5 star athletes want to come to.

I think the school jamrog has on the schedule is a prostitute. It will only cost 500,000 grand for her to come get f'd anlly and vaginally and then she will lick the dick to see how she tastes. Tired of this bitch ass schedules.

Yeah...5 star athletes swarm to the schools that get their ass kicked by Wisconsin, Michigan, and South Carolina. Let's try to schedule an Alabama-type team on top of what's going to be an already rough schedule with what most argue will be a less-talented group than last year so we can get smoked by them and help them, not NU, get even more 5 star athletes. Who the hell are you really trying to help here?

I was just curious if anyone had any ideas or educated guesses as to who the opponent for the Huskers will be on September 22nd, 2012. Thanks Husker Nation. GBR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bet the ranch it's a home game against a div-1aa team.

We haven't played McCheese State in a while.

Does Pacific still play football?

Bowl team =/= good team.

What was UCLA's final record?

With 3 bowl teams already on the non-con schedule, and considering that we face the roughest-possible Big Ten schedule, I would think that they'd have to schedule a cupcake here.

UCLA, Southern Miss, Arky State...

A time ago they would have been considered cupcakes. But when you're no longer a perenial challenger for the national championship, but instead strive to stay in the top 25... pop tarts can bite back.

Well what are they? Cupcakes or Pop Tarts?

Cupcakes usually come out of the oven, while Pop Tarts come out of the toaster. HUGE difference, bro.

That was funny, Mills.

I wonder if we'll see some movement on this now that the Big XII has announced their schedules for this year. If it's a Big XII team, nothing is preventing them from announcing this opponent now. If there's no announcement soon, it's not a Big XII team.

I'd like for us to play one of the newbies. (TCU, WV)

Maybe OU.

Iowa State, Oklahoma State, Texas, & Tech all have 9/22 open. (maybe ISU?)

Texas it is. Bring it on whorns.

I'd be okay with that matchup.

No no no.

We left the Big 12 to get AWAY from Texas. Now that we are, why play them again? So they can ruin our season from another conference???

Never again.

Agreed. Screw Texas. I don't want to play them again.

Iowa State, Oklahoma State & Texas Tech, yes. I'd play any of them again. In fact, if we could figure out a way to get Northern Iowa on the schedule we could play all three and own the Iowa Championship. We could put it in the broom closet with our Sun Belt Conference championship from 2009.
