ladyhawke
I wonder who will take this guy's place? Should be interesting. Who would want to be captain of a sinking ship???? http://espn.go.com/college-sports/story/_/id/7603639/big-12-commissioner-chuck-neinas-leave-july-1 Quote Link to comment
huKSer
With any other organization, the following might hint at conflict of interest. Neinas helped numerous Big 12 programs hire coaches in various sports with his search firm, Neinas Sports Services. The Big 12's search committee to find his replacement offered Neinas a spot to serve as an adviser for the group, which is led by Oklahoma State president Burns Hargis. Neinas accepted the offer. Why waste time? Just make the Texas AD the conference commish and be done with it Quote Link to comment
HSKR
What is this Big 12 you speak of??? Quote Link to comment
jsneb83
Hey I hear Beebe doesn't have anything better to do. Quote Link to comment
LouisianaHuskerFan
Neinas was never meant to remain commissioner for a long period of time. He was brought in to do the job right after Beebe left as a temporary solution for the time being. This was expected. Quote Link to comment
husker_99
the one thing the new commissioner needs to to is put Texas's ego in check otherwise WVU and TCU will regret coming to the Big 12 and probably just leave after the 6 year agreement. Quote Link to comment
