redout22 Posted April 17, 2012 Share Posted April 17, 2012 Earlier this week at the top of the huskerboard website I saw a box that said Breaking News and said the head coaching job for HB is up for grabs. Is there a way to make a breaking news box whenever there actually is breaking news?? For instance if we get a new recruit for football or basketbal, it can be seen in the breaking news box or after a game it has the score posted in the box.. Just an idea 2 Quote Link to comment

zoogs Posted April 18, 2012 Share Posted April 18, 2012 Good idea. During the season we have an area in the sidebar that shows the week's game, with the score updated after the results are in. We've updated with announcements and news (by highlighting threads) in the past, so both are things that we have done before. Having it for new commits and other news items is a great idea. I actually thought the look-alike thread was up there...not sure if that will stay a regular feature or not (the Look-Alike), but I'll add it in for this week.
