DJR313
I've been trying to think of something that may change our luck. Something new, something different. Then it hit me. My Grant Wistrom jersey. I told myself, I would never wear that thing unless it was an amazingly special occasion. I have never worn it to a game....NEVER. In fact, I've only worn it twice in my life and I've had it for almost 7 years now. If you are gonna sport the Wistrom jersey, maybe I will sport my Ed Stewart. Haven't worn it since 95, hope it still fits, I'm about 10" taller now. Quote Link to comment

hskrfannnwk
That could be quite the sight! Quote Link to comment
rawhide
If you're 10" taller then maybe your wife/girlfriend/lifepartner should wear it. Cool jersey though. Any of the 94-95 jerseys definitely have the Obi-Wan connection. Quote Link to comment
txdrdubya
Come to us oh mighty Webb City, Missouri alum. Come amongst us and apply pressure at will oh sweet 98. Quote Link to comment
hack
Look this is one of the stupidest posts I have ever made i've made quite a few. they get easier as you go along. Quote Link to comment
Scarlet"N"Cream
If you have any question wearing it then don't. But if you do all hail to ya!! Quote Link to comment
ohiohusker
Eric.........I say go for it! Wasn't it Grant Wistrom who chanted the Tunnel Walk lyrics? Might rekindle some of the old days and bring out the magic that Tunnel Walk does for us! Wrestlers have superstitions and why can't we? (My son swore he had to have a certain kind of cereal for tournaments!) Put that jersey on, Eric, and be proud! Yell for all of us who can't be there! ( I do have an old Johnny Rodgers shirt I could get out! ) Quote Link to comment

WIll it wake up the old football gods of the past? It may not be the biggest game, but is it the most important? Or do I save it for something else, another "big game"?? Look this is one of the stupidest posts I have ever made, but I'm desperate man...I mean desperate. I want a bowl game like no other. We need to come out of this season with something to hang our hat on. Hey Eric, you think it's just a coincidence that you wore your #98 Wistrom jersey today and #98 Potter blocked 2 kicks to help win the game? Nice call, IT DOES HAVE POWERS! Quote Link to comment
clone
Don't waste it. Save it. It has great powers. I remember my first beer...... The "magic powers" are in the young men on the field. Not in the garb of the fans. BEAT CU!!! Quote Link to comment
