HUSKER 37
They opened the roof just before we got there, but it was nice..Still no clue how baseball ever became a spectator sport..Needs more tackling..maybe a ball washer like they do in golf... But my suspicions were confirmed..Robbie and I could have fun just watching paint dry Quote Link to comment
NUance
Father and son at a baseball game. That sounds pretty great! Can't wait until my kid is old enough to take to the ballpark. Quote Link to comment
HUSKER 37
I wore my Husker "Back to Back" T-shirt and tried to pretend we were watching Spring Football practice back home Quote Link to comment
HUSKER 37
Anyone know why there's a strip of bare dirt between the pitcher's mound and home plate? My Son was trying to tell me it was for the pitcher to run to home plate in the case of a wild pitch and I was trying to sound all scientific and say it was so the batter could more easily tell which way the ball was curving and/or spinning. Not many ballparks have that. If I had to guess, it would be more for the grounds crew when they get the field ready or just to keep the field more symmetrical. Quote Link to comment

Minnesota_husker
I took my little "brother"(Big bros-big sis program) to a Creighton game. We had a blast! They're a little dry but I kept him full of junk food and got a baseball from a coach(which we got signed by a few players) A really cool moment for him and I. Quote Link to comment
