IlliniHusker
I find it a little bizarre that the "weak" north division has 4 bowl reps and the "stong" south division has 3. Quote Link to comment
BigWillie
Better hope we don't play Virginia. If we thought we had it bad playing against the like of Everidge and Smith due to their running, we'll have it worse with Marques Hagans. Quote Link to comment
KansasHusker
Honestly, I don't care who we go up against in our bowl, and for some reason I would prefer the toughest team available to get some out of conference experience and go up against a team that we can maybe get some respect or confidence back by...it would be nice to play a very solid team and beat them in a bowl and show the nation that we are on the right track...does anyone else feel this way? How about Florida St. in the Champs Bowl. The World Herald reported that that is who Champs wants, NU vs. FSU. Quote Link to comment
KansasHusker
If thats it then so be it, I just want to make a good showing against a tough team thats all I ask... Quote Link to comment
huskered17
How about Florida St. in the Champs Bowl. The World Herald reported that that is who Champs wants, NU vs. FSU. That would be a good test. Of course defence is their strong point this year. GBR!!! Quote Link to comment

Nate
I would love to play a really good team in a bowl, look at Texas after their Rose Bowl win last year vs Michigan, they are rolling this season, it would be a HUGE confidence builder if we win a big bowl this year. Quote Link to comment

How about Florida St. in the Champs Bowl. The World Herald reported that that is who Champs wants, NU vs. FSU. It doesn't make sense that the Champs Sports Bowl would want Florida State. They wouldn't make as much money if FSU went. Virginia or someone farther North would be a better decision. That doesn't mean FSU won't go though. Quote Link to comment
CoachKevin
The city would prefer a Team that has to travel. That sells Hotel rooms etc. The Bowl itself wants to sell Tickets. With Nebraska Traveling well and FSU in state. It would most likely sellout. Quote Link to comment
mjmartin1970
I'll reserve judgement on who I want in a bowl game until I see the team play CU. If we come out strong and play well, win or lose, I want the toughest team available. If we just get our heads handed to us on a silver platter by CU due to a bunch of penalties, fumbles, missed tackles etc., then, well, I'm not so sure I'd want to play FSU. By the way, I actually think the former (we come out strong and play well) is what is going to happen. Quote Link to comment
