knapplc Posted August 29, 2012 Share Posted August 29, 2012 Here are the final numbers for the preseason HuskerBoard Top 25. 11 people submitted ballots, and the results are.... 1 - Alabama ( 3 ) 2 - USC ( 4 ) 3 - LSU ( 2 ) 4 - Oregon ( 1 ) 5 - Oklahoma ( 1 ) 6 - Michigan 7 - South Carolina 8 - West Virginia 9 - Georgia 10 - Florida State 11 - Ohio State 12 - Arkansas 13 - Virginia Tech 14 - Clemson 15 - Michigan State 16 - Wisconsin 17 - Texas 18 - Nebraska 19 - TCU 20 - Kansas State 21 - Oklahoma State 22 - Boise State 23 - Stanford 24 - Florida 25 - Auburn Others receiving votes (next ten only): Louisville, Washington, Notre Dame, Texas A&M, UCF, Utah, Missouri, USF, Houston, North Carolina In all 49 total teams were ranked by the voters. Five different teams received first-place votes (in parentheses). There were 19 teams who earned a ranking by all 11 voters, while 11 different teams were only ranked by one voter each. 24 teams earned ten or more rankings. How'd we do? There were a lot of teams in the top 10 that I could see plenty of reasons for moving down, but I just couldn't find any reason for moving anyone up. Other than Bama, USC, and LSU, it could be a pretty wide-open and exciting year. Link to comment
