Notre Dame Joe
Well who'd have thunk it. Notre Dame, Michigan, Oklahoma, Nebraska are in two stadia today, but not the matchups history would suggest. But this is the future. Michigan and Nebrasa are linked. ND-Michigan is winding down. I don't know if we have a long term relationship with the Big12 now that the conference race has ended, but we sure will be seeing both OK and TX a few times, while Nebs will meet all of our old big10 neighbors. The future is now I guess. Meanwhile. Stoops hasn't lost two home games in a year. ND hasn't lost in Norman. something's gotta give Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
I'm a Sooners fan today. I hope they throttle ND all day without the benefit of a reach around 1 Quote Link to comment
NUance
The line is OU +10. That sounds about right. Quote Link to comment
Nebraska Alum
I'm hoping that Notre Dame can upset the Sooners tonight in order to weaken Kansas State's strength of schedule. And I like watching Stoops lose. Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
Normally I would agree with you, but my hatred for ND runs deep...very deep. Almost to the point of being unhealthy Quote Link to comment
Notre Dame Joe
This is excruciating. Our D was hanging on for dear life, giving up 110 yards in the first 4 minutes. The offense gets all these opportunities and then drops a ball, misses a lane, or Golson doesn't see the WR. Quote Link to comment
Notre Dame Joe
Late Holding call takes a TD off the board. Stoops turning redder than Sooner's jersey. Quote Link to comment
Notre Dame Joe
A scoreless 3rd quarter. I can't believe it sooners somehow miss a 3rd down, or waste it with a run. Irish drive 70 yards, Golson gets rocked, missed FG Quote Link to comment
Notre Dame Joe
9:18 we gave up our first rushing td again Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
That was a stupid "catch" by OU. Should have let it fall to the ground. Quote Link to comment
Flood
Sooners self-destructed here at the end. To be fair, they are not used to competing at this level, these last few years. And I am no fan of Notre Dame, but they have to be congratulated. They clawed their way back to the top after a very long turn in purgatory. Hopefully we can join them in that stratosphere in the next year or two. Quote Link to comment
NUance
ND scores another TD. Oh Stoops. Quote Link to comment
HuskerfaninOkieland
So glad I didn't watch this game. Mushberger is deep throating the Irish Quote Link to comment
NUance
Sooners get the mercy score at the end. 30-20. /Edit: Play called back to the 1 yd line. Guy's foot was OB. lol Quote Link to comment
