Of all the wrong things in the first post I'll just point out two:

 

Bo Pelini teams are not built for defensive speed. Holy crap, did you watch the team the past two seasons? If there is one glaring deficiency in the Husker D that opponents can't wait to exploit, it's how easy it is to beat our defense to the corner.

 

And given how slow our defense is we would likely have gotten our asses handed to us by Kansas State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and West Virginia, possibly Texas and Baylor. The only gimme in the Big 12 would have been Kansas.

 

The move to the Big 10 made plenty of sense for the University as a whole, but strictly in football terms the Big 12 was stronger top to bottom than the Big 10 this season.

Two years in the B1G and the sky is falling. A lot of people need to just chill and realize that one loss, even though it was a blowout, doesn't define an entire program or coaches career. It's been a tough transition to the B1G, a lot tougher than what people thought it would be. There's no excuse for Sat. night but for whatever reason it happens. Let's not judge this team by one game, they still accomplished a lot and have one more chance to bouch back in fashion. Whether or not it happens, we'll have to see.
