95huskers Posted March 20, 2013 Share Posted March 20, 2013 I disagree south. We dont have the talent, thats not erstads fault at this point. Our schedule should be daunting. With as bad as our record looks there are a handful of games, if not more, that we were in, like this one, at the end, and made a crucial mistake that broke the game open. This team is not elite. I do think however that they will be very competetive in league play and that was the point of the schedule. all games in league should seem much less daunting that our schedule to date. 1 Quote Link to comment

I've never understood the mindset in that situation. Why put the call in the ump's hands? At 3-2 with bases loaded, be SURE to throw a strike..........still a 70% shot at an out.
