Four is obviously better, but in today's game there's not that many quality quarterback recruits willing to come in and sit behind someone else for most of their career. In our case, we could have had more, but turner and carnes switched positions. Marsh could have been another, but he transferred. Green transferred. Bubba played baseball. The luxury of a four year starter allowed/caused the position switches and transfers, so it's not as if we've just been striking out in recruiting. One thing that helps us is quality walk-ons. Kellog looked pretty darn sharp in the spring game and could win some games for us if need be. Brokemeier and fife are also quality walk-ons on the roster. Here's the scholarship recruits for the last five classes. Not too shabby. 2013 - Stanton 2012 - Armstrong 2011 - turner and starling 2010 - carnes 2009 - Martinez and green Quote Link to comment
