Ed Helms Posted April 9, 2013 Share Posted April 9, 2013 The Charleston Classic presented by Foster Grant, announced six of the eight-team field for the 2013 Charleston Classic presented by Foster Grant, to be held next November, at TD Arena in Charleston, S.C. The teams participating in the sixth annual event include UAB, Clemson, Georgia, Nebraska, New Mexico and Temple. A seventh and eighth team will be announced later. The 2013 Charleston Classic presented by Foster Grant will feature a bracket format with 12 games over three days. Each team will compete in one game per day, advancing through the bracket. The two teams that remain undefeated throughout will face off in a championship game on the final day of competition. The Southern Conference (SoCon) will again serve as the event’s sponsoring conference, making its sixth straight year. Past winners of the Charleston Classic presented by Foster Grant are Northwestern, Georgetown, Miami (Fla.) and Clemson. This family-friendly tournament offers the teams a week of practice, play and experiences in and around historic Charleston. 2013 Charleston Classic Field Announced EDIT: UMass and Davidson the other 2 teams added.
