Hayseed
So they send Ameer on a bunch of pass routes and he looks like a million bucks. It reminded me of Marlon Lucky's abilities...like the old wingbacks. I have to admit I was wondering where this was at against UCLA, but that's water under the bridge now and I'm glad our opponents will have another big threat to think about for the rest of the season. Another potentially scary guy catching passes out of the backfield is Mr. Newby. Quote Link to comment

Chaddyboxer
Another answer....and I honestly hate to say it...TMart... Ameer's been open plenty of times when Taylor hasn't had much down field. Could've hit him in the middle or in the flats on more than one occasion....he was wide open. Quote Link to comment
zoogs
I don't remember the stats but I thought the UCLA game was so much passes to the sidelines, specifically to guys like Ameer and Newby. Quote Link to comment

Yeah...if only the NCAA would let us count the sideways passing yardage...but THEY STAND IN THE WAY...THEY STAND IN THE WAY!!! I only remember sideways passes to Kenny Bell though.
