DJR313
i think we have no shot at landing this kid........need to look elsewhere hunter The coaches lured Beck out of Florida from under the noses of Miami, Florida and Florida St. I'm not saying it won't be difficult, but it could happen. Hunter94
it sure could DJR, but Texas is the toughest place of all to recruit....I just would be surprised to see us pull if off.....but once we get a really high profile guy out of the lone star state, it will be easier from that time forward......gotta get over the hump hunter Quote Link to comment
Eric the Red
i think we have no shot at landing this kid........need to look elsewhere hunter UT landed a huge commit this year and as said so did Arkansas. NU has had him in camp several times. Couls help. I watched him again on film and the level of competition he plays against and with is tremendous. Watching these athletes resembles D III. He is very refined and well suited to the spread offense. Quote Link to comment
rawhide
At the after LOI dinner in Lincoln Coach made mention of a Texarkana player they are going after hard. Maybe just poppin' orange smoke to take attention there.????? Sneaky bastids. Quote Link to comment

huskerfan8
texas is pretty much out of it now and if michigan was a favorite with texas why would he want to reopen everything up..maybe there is hope for this kid Quote Link to comment
pigsonthewing
texas is pretty much out of it now and if michigan was a favorite with texas why would he want to reopen everything up..maybe there is hope for this kid we dont know that yet. pull back on the reins. we know that texas gave him a deadline and he doesnt like it that he is being pressured into making a decision. we know both ryan and his old man loved their visit to UT campus. i wouldnt count texas out just yet. texas is just using some strong techniques, obviously because they are the defending champs and plan to use that to their full advantage Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
yep, but kind of a chicken-sh#t tactic in my book....recruiting ain't ever gonna be easy for the recruits or the teams......too bad it has come to this.....he might just teach them a lesson in ettiquette......maybe they need it.....arrogance sucks!! hunter Quote Link to comment
