Canned Roast Beef Help

GSG

Recommended Posts

I have had two cans of Kirkland Roast Beef come into my possession.

Suggestions on what to make with them?

Step 1: Remove the lid from the can.

Step 2: Be careful of the edges! Those things can be sharp.

Step 3: Dump contents into small saucepan. Heat over medium heat.

Step 4: While the roast beef is heating, wash out can and place it with your recyclables.

Step 5: After some time, remove the saucepan from the heat.

Step 6: Carefully deposit contents of saucepan directly into your trashcan.

Step 7: Buy real meat.

Lol. What's funny is the results that came up from my Google search. Some people think this canned beef is great.

I actually ended up dumping the broth and heating the meat up in a saucepan full of BBQ sauce and made sandwiches

I might get crucified here but have none of you really had canned beef? Like something your mother or grandmother would have canned herself? Canned beef and egg noodles are a fine meal. Yes, surprisingly I do own a home.

Oh, yeah. Homemade canned beef is tasty. Same with canned venison.

Well after seeing that canned chicken :ohnoes , canned roast beef in broth definitely seems like the way to go.

As long as we're talking about disgusting stuff, my daughter picked out one of those Hormel Compleats bacon breakfast scramble to have for breakfast. Absolute worst ready to microwave prepared crap I've ever experienced. She took one bite (which was extremely brave, and stupid imo) and then graciously offered the rest to me. I looked at it, smelled it, considered giving it to the dog but I like my dog so I ran it down the disposal. sh#t should be illegal.
