Kernal Posted October 4, 2014 Share Posted October 4, 2014 Nebraska has been using that motion quite a bit this year, I've noticed. Seems like I saw it last year some too. I know the Jet motion is an old wrinkle, but I don't remember seeing it much until Wisconsin killed us with it in the 2012 Big Ten Championship game. Now, it seems like almost every game I watch one or both of the teams are using it some. And every time I see it I'm reminded of Melvin Gordon taking the handoff and running by our defense for huge gains. I wonder how much Wisconsin's success against us in that game influenced other OC's adopting its use. 2 Quote Link to comment
