NUance
The last Top Ten draft pick from the Big Ten was in 2008. Michigan OT Jake Long went #1 overall. Is this the year we break the drought? A lot of things can happen between now and draft day. But it seems like a sure thing right now. Randy is projected to go in the top couple of spots by most media types. LINK LINK LINK You're welcome, B1G. But really, I'd rather *not* break the drought this year by having Randy stay another season with the Huskers. For selfish reasons of course. Quote Link to comment
QMany
With the conference change, I don't know if you count Suh. What does that say about Michigan and OSU over the past 5 years? Quote Link to comment

It says a lot about their inability to develop players for the next level. Quite a few top-10 recruiting classes at tOSU and Michigan from 2004-2011. Both schools have consistently out-recruited Nebraska. Quote Link to comment
QMany
Lewan and Shazier were close, but that isn't cutting it. Quote Link to comment

HeyBurke
Barring some sort of catastrophic injury or something bad happening at the Combine, Randy is going to be a top five pick. Quote Link to comment

Yeah, there are plenty of things that can happen. Like getting ejected from the bowl game for fighting. Or punching a cop outside a bar. Or goofing off at the senior bowl. But I can't imagine Randy doing anything stupid like these things between now and his big payday on May 8. Quote Link to comment
