admo
Character wise he is leaps and bounds above the competition. Performance wise he is leaps and bounds above the competition. Statistic wise he is right there with the competition. Team credential wise he is below the competition. I agree. Between Rex and Ameer, we've been very fortunate to have such great running backs who excel in the classroom and off the field as well. Just quality individuals. Quote Link to comment

JohnnyZ2
At this point the Heisman is one of two things, the best player from the best team or whoever ESPN hypes the most. We all know AA and Melvin Gordon should be in the running, but realistically if even one is it's lucky. Rest assured AA has a bright future and will make his well earned money if he stays healthy. Let ESPN talk about Lebron and Johnny Football and the SEC and understand AA probably will never get the credit he deserves. Quote Link to comment

Count 'Bility
They listed Winston as one of the top 4 yesterday. For god's sake. Quote Link to comment

Check out his feature on the Journey for just one example. Quote Link to comment
The Dude
Ameer will need a huge November/December to get back in the mix, methinks. I would love for Gordon to win it if Ameer doesn't. I will be astonished if Mariota doesn't. He is a QB afterall. 1 Quote Link to comment
Guy Chamberlin
Ameer will need a huge November/December to get back in the mix, methinks. I would love for Gordon to win it if Ameer doesn't. I will be astonished if Mariota doesn't. He is a QB afterall. It would be refreshing to get off the QB bandwagon once in awhile, but I'm not about to diminish Mariota's season: 29 TDs vs. 2 Int, 67% completion, 10 yards per attempt. Damn good running quarterback, too, and his character will keep Winston at bay. Ameer has brought a lot of great publicity to himself and to Nebraska. I'd rather enjoy that journey than somehow feel victimized that he's dropped a couple ticks down the Heisman list. Quote Link to comment
