Hingle McCringleberry
HAHAHAHAHAHA..... You'd fire a Chancellor of a Major University over the football program? Love him or hate him Ol' Harv has done a lot for UNL 2 Quote Link to comment
IvabigN
Perlman: hires pedyshine signs off on contracts that guaranty both pedyshine and callifraud full buyout money even if they get new jobs. Hires Ginger for 1 million a year or a 200% raise - this for a guy with all of 2 years experience tells regents they can "remove" him if they want- basically doing the same thing Bo did and was tarred and feathered for last year lies to regents holds back funds for football to the point we're behind OSU, Mich, MSU, Northwestern, Wisconsin and PSU in spending- and has the ginger lie to the press about the spending-Ginger is stonewalling opening up the books to the press to this day Isn't all the above cause to fire this snake in the grass?? He's single handedly cost NU 10 of millions of dollars 4 Quote Link to comment

shyndy
Personally I think at Unl the AD shouldn't be answering to anyone Quote Link to comment

Bowfin
Perlman has not done well since with the football program since...I can't think of when. Quote Link to comment
Saunders
Harvey was hired the year Nebraska football as we knew it, died. REALLY MAKES YOU THINK dot dot dot Quote Link to comment
shyndy
Personally I think at Unl the AD shouldn't be answering to anyone i mean of course other than donors and stuff, but the athletic department should be more separate in its responsibility Quote Link to comment
ColoNoCoHusker
I have heard enough stories to believe Perlman has had some colossal screw ups along with some really big wins. I'd prefer Perlman gone but doing over football is a bit much. Sends the wrong message on the University's focus (which should be academics). A great chancellor would be more an egghead who is prone to making bad Athletic decisions. You manage that by hiring a good AD to keep the chancellor in check. We will know very shortly if we have that AD... Quote Link to comment
