It has a coastline that stretches for about 2,000 km (1,200 mi). It has territory that includes more than 200 islands. Unfortunately it is inhabited by the worst vermin on Earth. It is an Al Queda stronghold. The United States will send this country $345,000,000. in foreign aid this year. What is our return on investment? They hate us. Better to gift 3,450 Americans with $100,000. each. At least then we put that money back into the US economy rather than into the pockets of corrupt officials in Yemen. The leaders of Yemen need to step back and see what they have. Twelve hundred miles of coast line. Two hundred islands. Why do they want to live a life of turmoil knowing that there people out there that would kill them at the drop of a hat? Why not develop that coast line and those islands? They have a great climate, why not build golf courses and resorts? Become a destination for tourists. Raise the life style of every resident of your country by ten fold. These people are basically too stupid to see this. They don't deserve our $345,000,000. in aid, and we are stupid to send it to them. T_O_B Link to comment
