NebraskaShellback
Good to hear Charlie again, I miss him and the Blackshirts! I do have an autograph on a team picture from Kenny Walker in 2002 or 2003. He was coaching at the Iowa School for the deaf but I am not sure where he is now. Kenny Walker is my top favorite of all time husker. Thank you Kenny Walker! Thank God for Charlie McBride! 1 Quote Link to comment
Touchdown Tommie
Why did it take so long for some of this to get out? I remember when Clownahan was here and shut out the alum he was immediately raked across the coals. I am guessing ol Bo did not want them around because he felt inadequate around them...who the hell knows though!?! 1 Quote Link to comment
True2tRA
Milt says Riley and Cavanaugh are back to doing it the way Osborne and he did it. The we know what the expected results will be. I stated what the results will be in my post. Cavanaugh is getting individual time during practice one on one with his linemen to teach technique. Pretty simple stuff really. Quote Link to comment

huKSer
For the ten thousandth time......should've been the coach after Osborne retired.McBride was ready to retire with Osborne, but hung around for 2 more years as a favor to Solich. I don't think Charlie would have wanted to take on the long-term running of the program after TO. Didn't he have a really bad back? Quote Link to comment
