With the trend towards FBS schools not playing FCS schools we are bound to see 5-7 teams begin to make bowl games unless more schools join the FBS, especially with the proposed additional bowl games and only having Coastal Carolina currently slated to transition to FBS. Last season there were just eight teams that finished at least 6-6 and were not invited to a bowl game. With two more additional teams making a bowl this year and the FBS being no larger this may be the season that a 5-7 team finally makes a bowl game. Quote Link to comment
