MinnwiscowaSker
Is it just me or is it odd that Riley keeps speaking in the third person about the team? "It'll be really good for the Huskers..." (http://www.omaha.com/huskers/blogs/bigred/big-ten-teleconference-mike-riley-never-saw-himself-in-oregon/article_3afdf5c6-79d1-11e6-8f2b-3f51e127dc0d.html) He did it in his TV interview during the game last weekend and I've seen him do it a bunch of other times last year too. Almost feels like he's here to coach the team, but doesn't count himself as a Husker. You're one of us now! We accept you! Probably just reading into something on the Tuesday before one of the biggest games in quite some time... 1 Quote Link to comment
Undone
LOL, that's incredibly paranoid. No, it's not odd. Odd would be your avatar. Quote Link to comment
Mike Harvat
I think this is over-analyzing for sure. Could be a generational thing, could be the way he talked at Oregon State, who knows...he hasn't given any indication whatsoever that he isn't committed. He wouldn't have uprooted his entire life only to come here for a year and a half. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
Questions is, was he wearing Husker gear while he said this or what was he wearing? That was SUPER telling during the Callahan years...................*sarcasm* Quote Link to comment
MinnwiscowaSker
Thanks for welcoming me to the team. Now I just hope Riley becomes part of it. /sarcasm Quote Link to comment
NUance
I heard Pete Ricketts talking about some legislation the other day. He said, "This will be really good for Nebraska." It almost feels like he's here to lead the state, but doesn't count himself a Nebraskan. Quote Link to comment
