cm husker
Crazy what running a scheme that puts players in a position to succeed will do.Such a weird conceptCrazy what happens when the players listen to their coaches.No. Crazy what happens when a scheme is used to play to their strengths. Duh.Some of the players have admitted that listening to the coaches was an issue last year, Tommy Armstrong and MRI have both made statements to that effect. Please try to keep up. And some of the coaches talked about not communicating calls correctly between coaches, let alone to the players. Quote Link to comment
Xmas32
Crazy what running a scheme that puts players in a position to succeed will do.What do you mean here? Compared to what? What was run last year? Or what was run the year he made all conference as an underclassman? Running mostly Cover 3 this year vs. Quarters last year. No way you get a response on this one. Your point was too logical. I'd also like to point out there is a difference between all conference as an underclassman and all-american. Why would I need to respond? Mavric made the point. The scheme (and communication) was awful last year. Glad they are changing some principles back to stuff similar to what we did defensively before. Aww CM, don't tell us you're getting soft. Offseason CM would've required 3 links and a 2 page single spaced response. Even then, if the response wasn't typed up in the MLA format you would've responded with, "It's hard to follow your point, could you clarify what you mean?" 1 Quote Link to comment
lo country
Looking at last years 2 AA safeties, Gerry wasn't far off their stats. IIRC, he is also only 4 INT's away from the NU record. He is a baller. His stats would be better career wise if not for starting at LB, missing games for the "targeting" and missing the opener for some reason. IMO, pre-season he had a great shot at AA. Nice to see he and Jones getting some accolades. Quote Link to comment
