Mavric
Riley is hopeful that the comfort level he saw from Lee and O'Brien was in connection to the work they saw during Sunday practices last fall. Despite not playing in games, both QBs took about 20 to 25 snaps each week in those Sunday live scrimmages, while also getting individual work in. Those Sunday reps for new quarterbacks lower on the depth chart, like true freshman Tristan Gebbia, is something Riley would like to keep doing going forward. "I wanted to see how it played out today, what that meant to them the first day of spring practice," Riley said. "Would they come into spring practice with that work every Sunday (last year) as their gameday during the year, would that payoff as far as their comfort opening day of spring ball? What we saw is pretty comfortable guys." Riley felt the quarterbacks mostly made the right reads and were efficient. LJS 1 Quote Link to comment

lo country
It would benefit the team tremendously if we actually had a legitimate QB battle. WE have not had one in recent years. Not to mention quality depth (all based on my opinion and reports). Quote Link to comment
