"We'd love to have him. But, obviously signing as a point guard, it depends on what his motivations are going to be," Henare said. "Does he want the ball in his hands, and to continue to grow as a point guard? Or is he happy playing off the ball? "If that's an option for him, we'd be happy to keep exploring that. Minnesota_husker Posted January 24, 2018 Share Posted January 24, 2018 Tai is an easy guy to root for. Awesome to see him putting up some numbers in a decent league. I could see him being a coach one day, or maybe even going back to NZ to help push basketball. He has great character and that should push him towards special things. Quote Link to comment

However, Webster didn’t rally take advantage of those opportunities.In the five games of the Vegas Summer League, Webster logged 17, 0, 10, 14 and 13 minutes, scoring 12 points on 4-of-10 shooting.
