Redux
Good read for a dark time. This always stands out to me: Quote The state of Nebraska shares borders with the following states: Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming and South Dakota. David Keynon of Bleacher Report ranked the top 25 states for the 2017 recruiting cycle. Not a single state that borders Nebraska made the top 25. Is there another “elite“ program which is surrounded by near the same number of states that did not make that top 25 list? It's amazing that this program ever became elite. Right place right time for two coaches, and a crapload of patience and dedication for the latter. Since then we have watched 4 average coaches take a crack at this job and so far all 4 have come up very short of a bar that was placed higher than a program like this should place it. But he is right, this place is special, we deserve a high bar because of our dedication as a fan base, past results and cotinued dedication from everyone surrounding this program even during yet another rough patch. This team will get back to competing for and winning conference titles, I just don't know when or who will lead it there. Quote Link to comment
