What were the bright spots yesterday?

Honestly, we looked like the better team in the 4th quarter; just ran out of time, bonehead mistakes and all.

I respectfully disagree. Having gone up 30 - 9, Illinois simply went into game management mode. They didn't have to score, they just had to burn the clock, which they did pretty successfully. We continued to make boneheaded mistakes in the 4th quarter.  When time ran out, Nebraska was down by 8 to a team that had played better, more disciplined ball for four quarters, and most successfully with its second string quarterback thrown into action.
