Jonny Utah
I think on the opening kickoff (if we kick off) it should be an onside kick. Not that I am in anyway suggesting this, but has anyone ever seen this happen before? Nothing comes to mind for me. At least one time comes to mind for me. Back in 1999, Colorado tried an onside kick to start the game I believe. Dan Alexander then took a pitch from Crouch and went 50 yards for a TD on the very next play. so, i think it's best if Nebraska stays away from that particular strategy. Quote Link to comment
Husker_x
how about we kick a field goal when we are 4th and goal instead of punting You bastard! Seriously though. Punting is a pour choice for 4th and goal. Quote Link to comment
G_Rock
we tried a trick play against oklahoma last year (a fake field goal run) and they "intercepted" the over-the-shoulder toss and scored. The reason that didn't work against CU was because we'd used it successfully earlier in the year and LSU had used it successfully the year before that. That's one of those plays that you use once in a lifetime and then, once its on film, just put it away and forget about it. Quote Link to comment
cscott2win
With a wet field and an away game I hope the trick playbook got left in Lincoln. If the Husker do what they do best they'll be ok. Quote Link to comment
