T-BONE
MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Memphis guard Roburt Sallie plans to pursue basketball elsewhere after he receives his degree in August. Sallie, a junior, will have one season of eligibility remaining after playing with the Tigers the past two seasons and at City College of San Francisco as a freshman. The team said Tuesday that Sallie plans to spend his final year of eligibility at a college closer to his Sacramento, Calif., home or pursue professional basketball overseas. If he chooses another college, he will not have to sit out a season if he has already graduated. Sallie made 21 starts in 70 games, averaging 8.2 points and 2.8 rebounds. He set the Tigers' single-game record for 3-pointers made with 10 in a come-from-behind win against Cal State Northridge in the first round of the 2009 NCAA tournament From ESPN.com He could try to come here again but just for one year!! haha Quote Link to comment

redout22
He would help so much but the admissions screwed something up so he can't come backo. I wonder where he does end up though. Quote Link to comment
The_Big_Dowski
So...Roburt Sallie comes to Nebraska in 2011-2012? Since the ruling said he couldn't play for any Big 12 team, that won't apply anymore since we're switching conferences. Sit out this year, come back next year! 1 Quote Link to comment

bball_backer
This is one of the first things I thought of.... unfortunately I believe this year is Sallie's fifth year, so sitting out and playing the next year is not an option. I THINK. I hope I'm wrong, though! Quote Link to comment
