Haha I did not know Frank Martin shaved his head. Looks even crazier when he gets pissed then he used to!

Netflix & streaming video stuff worth watching

Nightmare Alley is on HBO Max now. You need to be in a certain kind of mood b/c it isn't an easy going watch, but I really enjoyed it. I think the movie from the last 20 years I would compare it to most is Shutter Island. Both are pretty heavy psychological dramas and have an interesting take on the time period.- 2,816 replies

This one is on Mahomes' shoulders. He was stellar early, but that last play before half was as bone headed as it gets and he had an awful second half. Simply didn't play well enough to win a game like this.

This is one of the most insane football games I have ever seen, is this the best NFL playoff weekend of all time? Absurd stuff.

Chamath is a Democrat, but closer to a Yang type technocrat than the normal party line.

Some survivors came and spoke to us in high school and it was one of the most important things we did in my schooling. To hear their stories gave so much weight to what you read in your history book, and see the tattoos man the tattoo was so chilling. Genuinely blessed to be old enough to hear from men and women that lived through WWII, both survivors and soldiers. Stories straight from the source that will be greatly missed by a new generation.

I was shocked to see Andrew Luck on ESPN. I genuinely didn't expect to ever see him again. -

God I wish that Auburn running back just stayed inbounds. -

Sparty finishes with a flash. Pretty bad beat for people holding a Pitt card.

Never is a strong word, but I don't see any new airport between Omaha and Lincoln happening in my lifetime. Omaha has already driven about $100 million into the airport and is currently doing a lot more work. Plans to rework the terminal were chugging along, but did hit the breaks during covid. They plan to connect the terminals and have a single centralized security checkpoint. The idea is getting everyone in the same terminal can justify some better amenities beyond security. Also while it would benefit Lincoln and some suburban users to go out by Gretna or Ashland, Omaha's airport location is really good for their marketing pitch for things like conventions and NCAA events on top of helping attract business in the city's core. Obviously things can change, but I don't see Omaha being terribly interested ditching a really strong amenity for the city anytime soon.

Looking like KC is about to drop the division for the first time in 5 years.

NCAA National Semifinals: Huskers vs Pittsburgh

This schedule seems bad. A Friday Sunday structure feels a lot better for fans. I know there is a lot more that goes into a tv schedule, but this feels off. -
LeBron is the biggest name and best player of this era, but Curry is the most influential player of this era in terms of how the game is played on the court. Insane that he broke the three point record this quickly. Guys like Ray Allen and Reggie Miller will eventually have stats that make them look like elite QBs from the 90s passing stats compared to even average QB numbers today. Crazy what he did for 3 point shooting in the sport.

Such an impressive performance last night. Great passing and defense and the freshmen were outstanding. Heck of a season already getting to yet another final four. Can't wait for Thursday!
