I am a HUGE Husker fan like most on this board.....My August-January revolves around Husker football (mainly because my NFL Team (Cleveland) is dreadful).....Anyways, some people really need to get into baseball/soccer/hockey/basketball......way too much time on their hands.....Off season analysis is the most pointless thing in the world...everything could change by opening kickoff....it'll be alright...

Prayers and condolences

Im not an expert on this really, but how i got started in doing it was by going outside (to a football field) with a stopwatch.....i would jog for 5 minutes to warmup....After the warmup, I would do a 30 second sprint (you can tell if you are going too hard)......then lightly jog around for 30 seconds......then repeat until you are shot.....the reason i like this so much is because your body doesnt seem to realize that it is tired as quickly as it does during endurance running......you obviously feel winded and fatigued, but 30 seconds isnt really that long of a period.....so you continue to push yourself..... I would just start doing it......if you feel the sprints at 100% is too much, tone it down to 90% speed and so on and so forth...GOOD LUCK

What prompted your switch to the Browns? The Tebow thing was what prompted it, but I had just been getting fed up with their management style. I had been mulling a new team since they had hired Bill Callahan, and even though he had left, Rex Ryan's personality really wore on me, and I was surprised how easy it was for me to stop being a Jets fan. I went with the Browns, because I wanted to go with a team I've been pretty indifferent about so that I have no previous feeling clouding my fanhood. I also prefer traditional things, and the Browns are an historic team, with a fanbase that's not much unlike college football fans. Also, at the time, the last team to draft a Husker was the Browns. As a Lifelong (25 years) Browns fan....welcome to the club....

I also live a few miles from Sioux Falls, SD.....SF Washington is probably one of the top two schools in the state.....The competition level isnt real high though....He will play 4-5 games that will end by halftime due to the mercy rule....He still looks like a good athlete, I agree that his tape probably doesnt do him justice....Hope he's N....

With all the rumors surrounding Schiano jumping ship to the Tampa Bay Bucs, I would find it hard to believe rutgers could pull any more recruits....

CB Alfonzo Dennard of Nebraska leaves Mobile with a draft grade much lower than when he arrived. Dennard was stiff and struggled all week. The projected first-rounder was beaten by receivers who are likely last-day picks. While it's a bit premature, some scouts on hand say Dennard may have to move inside to safety, a thought that could further depress his draft stock.

good topic man.....i had a sports injury and got up to around 265 at one point......started doing p90x/cardio/kickboxing and im down to about 195.....i became a vegetarian and dont eat much sugar/salt anymore.....dont drink anything water and milk....i recently (about 4 months ago) dropped weight training and started doing HIIT (high intensity interval training).....it helped me get rid of the last 10 pounds pretty easily.....

The problem is that Mike Shanahan goes through RBs like crazy.....he doesnt even need a reason to do so..... Hopefully Helu becomes the standard back there

Offensively we should be really good (cue the Martinez haters).....Martinez looked 150% better at the end of this season, than he did at the beginning....Rex is Rex...and Kenny Bell is going to be a legit #1 that we havent had in awhile....Our OL should be much improved.... I think defensively we will be pleased....it will be nice to see Bo take the reigns back of the defense....this year was an asterisk, not a benchmark..... We will be fine next year......

What kind of bogus made-up stat is 10-7 in the last 17 games? How does this season and the last four games of last season become some benchmark? Talk about arbitrarily choosing a time frame to support some bogus point. We went 10-4 last year, 9-4 this year. That's 19-8 over our last 27 games. That's a real time frame to look at, not something arbitrarily contrived to produce a point. THANK YOU!.....sick of the "Lets fire everyone and start from scratch groups"

I think Lesnar will smother Overeem....He would be stupid to stand up with him, so I am betting it gets to the ground and Overeems face looks a lot like Frank Mirs did after UFC 100

i think cerrone/diaz could become a GREAT fight....that being said, i hope they knock each other out

I went up to the Target Center in Minneapolis a few years back for GSP vs Fitch and Lesnar vs Herring....Coincidentally, it also had Bones Jones first fight also (he filled in for an injured fighter)......IT IS A BLAST.....they had a before party outside of the Target Center hosted by Matt Hughes...and afterwards there was big parties all around downtown..... My only recommendation is that you go with some buddies, drink some beers, and get a little rowdy....I went with my wife (she bought me the tickets for my birthday).....there are A LOT of tough guys looking to fight....

Notre Dame is by far the most overrated football team in college sports....i dont understand when recruits are going to start geting the memo that 9-4 is the best they will ever see at that school (of course im not comparing it to NU, because we might do the same).....at least we have national titles in the last 50 years

I love when notre dame fans talk trash regarding having top 5 recruiting classes year after year after year......and then continue to go 7-5......
