Im glad that I amuse you. I read this board on a regular basis. It's a lot easier to have discussions with people when they play poorly. My opinions of Bo and the direction of this program don't change from week to week. Im not going to come in here and bash Bo when we are beating lowly Idaho State 70-3....thats just pointless. When we play poorly on national tv, in primetime, game after game....and continue to make the same mistakes over and over....that's when I come to the board. I guess I think I can knock some sense into people around here. That's what this forum is for. You don't amuse me, you annoy me, there is a difference, please don't confuse the two. You also find it easier to get people to agree with your point-of-view after a close game or loss because you're working with raw emotions and knee jerk reactions. That way you can have your, "Ha, see I told you people!" moment. I know your opinions don't change from week-to-week, you make that obvious so there is no hiding that. Why won't you bash Bo when we are beating "lowly" Idaho State so badly? Can't you make your points about Bo whether we are winning or losing? Or do you need those "raw emotions" to try and prove your point? I could definitely make my points, regardless of who we are beating. I just chose not to. It's not worth my time or energy to argue every single week with people. People should know that the teams we are beating easily are inferior opponents. The first time Bo wins a game against a team they aren't supposed to beat, I will be the first person here to congratulate him. The tradition at NE is not the walk ons', not the triple option, not the heisman, outland, not the blackshirts, not Bob D or even TO. The tradition at Nebraska is "the winning tradition" we also try to do it with class. (you can be firey and have class). I think it was an all around effort. Once Wiscy's D was tired, we kept pounding the rock. I credit the O line because they were so tired. It really was the offense giving the defense a rest that was the game changer in my mind. Football games are usually determined by the front 4-5 players. We seemed to dominate both lines of scrimage in the second half after the early TD. Just my opinion. During the UCLA game, they dominated both sides of the ball for long stretches. (especially when we were on D)

Ohio State's O-line is much better. We better be ready for next week. Both sides must play close to the best game in two years to win next week.

We(most husker fans) still aren't in the reality that these are still rebuilding years. Look at Bama. They went through 3 coaches.(franchione, price and shula) before they got Saban. If Pelini goes 6-6 after martinez is gone, we may need to replace him like bama replaced shula. It may be unpopular to fire Pelini if he can't get us over the top but that is reality. heck, Texas is in a downward spiral and they don't even know it yet!!!! other points The offense is good. The defense is still not good. Wisconsin's offense has been terrible all year. I was proud of the fight the team had. Even if we lose tonight, I was proud. This doesn't feel like Bill Clownahan circa 2007 praise the lord!!!! The defense did what was needed. The offense needs to pick up the D like the D picked up the offense circa 2009.

We don't have elite talent on defense. Just the four horsemen(Bell, Turner, burkhead and martinez) and a few other excellent offensive players. OSU should be the toughest, best team we play all year. It will not be easy to win the game. It is not impossible to win, though. We always have had trouble with mobile quarterbacks. good luck

The team is not deserving of blackshirts at this point. They haven't done anything yet. If they play well the next two or three weeks (or put together 4 quarters of GOOD defense against a decent offense like OSU, Michigan or Northwestern give them out) We need to actually beat a mobile quarterback!! Maybe we can beat one or two of the above teams. Until we play a full 4 quarters, don't hand em out.

Taylor is comfortable on bootlegs, roll outs but not in the pocket. Roll him out and get him in space so his athleticism can take over. His brain right now is like zac lee, his wheels are like eric crouch. We need his brain to catch up with his legs.... He may be incredible next year but the struggles continue this year so far... They need to roll him out on pass plays so he has the run-pass option.

correct. he has done it at least 3 times..... nice draw call. I have been seeing a lot of this and it seems to work against most of these speed defenses...

Which player listed above is playing tight end? None of them. Notice how I said "you can EVEN throw to the tight end out of it to mess with the "D"" The tight end usually lines up on the line of scrimage in case you didn't know!!!! If we threw to cotton out of it, the D would not expect it since he blocks most of the time. In fact Bell and Turner would be "backs" not receivers in that formation. You don't need to attack like you are a football snob!!! Most on the board know the top TE's are reed and cotton. Anyone can look that up. Too many husker fans are snobs like they know all there is.

I lived in Mobile from 2004-2008. There are no Husker fans down there. People freak out (in a good way) if they see you in Sker gear and they are from up there. Good thing they have Buf wild wings down there. I couldn't even get them to one t.v. on a husker game. They would turn it on me!!!! Better in Texas. lots of haters (and lovers) down here. The diamond with Kenny Bell, Jamal Turner, Rex Burkhead, Ameer Abdullah and Enunwa (with Taylor Martinez) can give us 7-10 plays a game. Run Triple option out of it. You can throw short passes out of it in the flat or even throw to the tight end to really mess with the defense. I have seen Oklahoma use it a ton with success. We have more weapons than I have seen in a while. Let's use them. No sense in having a rocket propelled grenade launcher with RPG's sitting in the house unused while you are using a bee-bee gun to try and kill a razorback. Let's use the RPG until it is too hot to handle.

So TCU is the champion. Would the Sugar take Boise over KSU? I don't really think Boise is that good but given 30 days to prepare, they could beat Michigan.... Same with Bill Snyder and KSU.

Houston did drop a ton in the human polls but I think that the computers will have them higher with one loss. Clemson DID jump TCU in human polls but not Michigan. I think Michigan is also far ahead of TCU in the computers. This will be close. All TCU needs is a BCS ranking of 16 and they are in. I think it is extremely close but TCU will be 17 by a hair.... I think BCS prediction guy Palm had MIchigan all the way up to #12 and TCU in at #17. thanks. I honestly don't have cable so good to know. Is he pretty accurate? I followed it pretty close the last couple of weeks. He is usually within one or two spots of being accurate on the 5th to 15th ranked teams.
