  1. I dont think it is Glenn looking for someone to hit...but more of...if you're going to come hit him, he's going to make you remember it so next time you think twice.
  2. For a while Glenn was used just between the tackles...and getting short yardage...then when his play selection was opened up he got 3 consecutive runs of 10 or more yards...than another 18 yarder...he is the real deal. He and Lucky are more like the Bush/White duo than I though.
  3. I'll admit i'd love to see him take a KO back for a TD...that'd put some crunk in the stands. haha
  4. Glenn will start. No matter how good Wilson looks in practice, you HAVE to know the playbook to play. Lucky will be used as more of a change of pace...and out of the backfield dump off. I think reason you arent hearing much about Glenn is, he's not having to do as much work at the others...Coaches know he has it...they're looking for him a backup. He's the starter come Sept. 2 in my opinion. My opinion and prediction is bold...but I believe it. Glenn and Lucky will carry the load (mostly Glenn)...Wilson will get a few touches a game...more towards the end of the season...and BJ will get his every now and then.
  5. If you watched the Spring game you can see which is a better back. I like what could happen if the ball is dumped off the Lucky or thrown to him...but if he has to run it where there is no hole...he will get nothing. Glenn will run, period. He'll hit the holes...or make one. Glenn will lead NU in rushing and seperate from the rest...
  6. Of course not...you should have seen what the train did to the 18-wheeler...haha j/p
  7. I asked him what made him leave at 1...he said he'd be sleeping all day and was ready to get home... Glad he was here able to tell me that.
  8. He is fine...not even a scrape or bruise. He was at my house tonight and said "God was in the passenger seat with me"
  9. Fell asleep and ran up under the back end of a 18-wheeler...heard the car was totaled.
  10. Glad to see Glenn made an early impact...the nation is going to be really surprised come....september. GBR! CTRAIN!!
  11. Rusk played Ozzie's "Ironman" when Glenn was in h/s.
  12. He had a train horn at h/s...until it was banned his senior year...I guess his opponets got sick of hearing it OVER and OVER!
  13. That'd be nice... Plus what C-Train brings to the table...could be a VERY nice season.
  14. I thought I read somwhere it was going to be on ESPN2? Is it not going to be on anything?
  15. Also...I think thats like...7th or 8th all time in 3a.
  16. I've watched every possible clip that I could over Marlon Lucky...i've seen what he can do and I did see him shine in a league in Cali that I personally could have ran in. The thing that impressed me most about Lucky was his out of the backfield catching. I wasnt at all impressed with his running...but his speed is special. As for Glenn...i've seen him play and i've watched him run over people again and again. Thats all people think he'll do...wrong...he can side step, spin, and do anything he needs to, including flat out RUN, to get to an endzone. Yes, Glenn is my favorite for the IB spot. Not only because i've watched him his whole career but because I read everything on here...and how the team has a different "swagger" when Glenn is in there and how he is liked by his teammates because he "finishes his runs". I'll talk about Glenn anytime I feel the need to on here and i've never once downed Marlon Lucky. I dont feel the need to...but i'll talk on here how I want to as long as it follows the rules. Dont expect me to change. GBR! GO C-TRAIN!! Also...the hype about Marlon Lucky in h/s was that he was so awesome...rushed for 5,000 some odd yards and 81 touchdowns...thats pretty impressive. Whats even more impressive is...Cody Glenn...89 touchdowns...6,353 total rushing yards in Texas 3a Football. Thats 27th all-time for rushing in the state of Texas.
  17. But...I think they want it to be Lucky SOO bad it might come back to haunt them.
  18. I get on here and other sites everyday and read about Glenn...i've never once read he isnt catching the ball. I dont think they are throwing it to him. I think, or I know, that when he comes in...the offense gets fired up that they get to watch someone who is going to run hard and work harder for the yards he'll get. I dont think they've throw much to him because they like to watch him run over people. Like he will...ALL season.
  19. He'll be back...I'm sure with how he was in high school...injuries like this only keep him down for a very short time. He's had a break, and he'll be fine. Also...you read that Coaches backed him down...does that mean he wouldnt have sat out on his own? He is going to come back full force. GBR!
  20. Nice note, Pigsonthewing... Hopefully you're right. That is STILL alot of weight to be hitting opponents with, though. definetly.. i dont know if he was just burnin fat to lose 10 pounds or any other specific. IIRC he was listed at 230 last fall, so assuming that was accurate C-Train is anywhere in the 215-225 pound range. Glenn is weighing 230 lbs. He has lost simply fat. 230 lbs at 6% body fat is SICK!! He is an animal!
  21. Sounds to me like Glenn is having a great spring running against the #1's...while Lucky is coming along against the #2's.
  22. My word to descride it is....Glenn.
  23. Glenn did really well. I posted an article on here talking about the first day.
  24. I'd have to agree with you on Glenn. From what I have read so far he has looked very impressive, not a mention really of any of the other backs performance yet. Still several practices left, though. Hopefully he is the real deal like StillWatchin' has preached for months. I'd love to see it. Glenn is my vote too. And I've been saying he's the real deal...and believing it too. He is an animal and we're all going to see it. C-Train is coming.
