Good win, but defense still needs to get better. Against the run anyway, and maybe more of a pass rush. But over all I thought they did better, This is the first game I have been able to watch all season except for the UCLA game. just got to keep getting better and take it one game at time

I don't really think yesterday's collapse was Bo's fault. The game I watched people our Huskers totally quit at about the 9:00 minute mark of the third quarter. The entire team quit, especially the deffense when UCLA made it 21-17 the effort of our defense was a joke. Now that Bo is the head coach and he is overall responsilble. He is going to take the heat for this loss and he should. The coaches can coach the players and players need to execute the plays and scheme. I have been a Nebraska fan and supporter for over 40 years, but after yesterdays game I am ashamed to call myself a husker fan because we stunk up the field and made UCLA look like the number one team in the nation.

At about the 9:00 minute mark of the third quarter we had total collapse, Coaches and players are all responsable for this, Don't know if I am going to pay attention to our season or not, yesterdays game really turned me off. We should be better then this but we are not.

Don't put words in people's mouths. The point being made is that we recognize the success we have had, realize that it is an accomplishment that very few teams can lay claim to, are thankful for it, and hoping that it can improve. BOOM. People with ponies in their signatures (as well as the moderating team and the admins, and perhaps Bucky and The Dude) get the point being made. This 9+ win stat is getting old. Nebraska plays 4 gimmie wins every season to start, then played in a weak Big 12 North and a Weak Big 10. How many times has a Bo coached team been flat out embarrassed. We gave up 70 points to a 7-5 team, we were embarrassed by Ohio State, we were embarrassed by Michigan last year, South Caroline. Good 9+ wins teams don't get taken to the wood shed every year. Our 9+ wins have been the result of playing a weak schedule, not being a dominate team. Thank you. Very well put and exactly on point. I for one don't mind if we lose as long as we make a game of it. Lately in the big ones we look like we are out of our league and it is getting old. Great point, great post.

No not really. And to think the beat down we got by Texas Tech in 2006 was bad, this one was worse. IMO.

Wow, I have followed Nebraska Football since about 1980, and I don't remember ever playing Air Force, what years did we play them? I know NU junior Varsity used to play them in the 80's But 1 and 1 against AF. Interesting.

I would love to get another shot at UCLA. But do not want anything to do with Orgeon, they are just to damn fast, even for us.

I agree, I miss playing OU. I also miss being in the Big12. I didn't care for the move. But what is done is done. The only thing I don't miss is the way Texas used to screw over everybody in the conference for money. I wish we still could be in Big 12. But I am ok with the BIG10 I just wish we could pull away from the other schools like we did in the old Big 8 days.

I would love your preditiction to be true. But that is a fantasy, I think even if we don't turn the ball over this is going to be a hard fought game. It is hard to beat someone twice in the same season, I expect a tight one. Hope we get it done.

Ducks have just tied it up. This is going to be a good one.

Both of these games are still early. I am not going to get excited yet. Out here in California watching the Ducks and Stanford. In that one I think it is only a matter of time before they get woke up. K-state will maybe have a little bit of a harder time. I am not a fan of either but if one of the two lose that opens the door for the SEC once again which I don't want to see for the 7 year in a row.

People, I hate to ask this and I am not trying to suggest anything, but is there a chance that Rex is done and maybe not going to be able to come back? I would love to hear from some of you in the state closer to the local media regarding Rex. But out here in California I am nervous about the true status of Burkhead.

14-7 is a butt whopping? Still very early in that game, I would not count out k-state just yet.

I woulld like to see Missouri in the BIG over both Maryland and Rutgers, I think they would be a great addition to the BIG, plus we could drive them crazy by beating them again year after year, except for 2007 or course.
