  1. "won't throw indoors because they want to be comfortable throwing in the wind" GOOD !! Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these QB's couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds
  2. Need to fill-in empty cells. What's the holdup anyway? I assume no B1G divisions ..... I like WEST/EAST divisions. WEST: Huskers, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, NW, Illini, USC and UCLA. EAST: Purdue, tOSU, Hoosiers, Michigan, MSU, Penn St, Rutgers and Terps You remember Legends-Leaders ?? LEGENDS: Huskers, Iowa, Minnesota, NW, Michigan and Michigan St. LEADERS: Wisconsin, Purdue, tOSU, Hoosiers, Illini and Ped St https://schersdd.tripod.com/sig2012.html
  3. I want Fighting Irish. Before USC and UCLA move. The key thing, location. Plus tradition. Hoosiers/Purdue/ND .... same state. And less than 150 miles away, Chicago(NW) and South Bend distance. I really don't like Rutgers .... I know, money talks. BTW, my second favorite team ---- Notre Dame Fighting Irish
  4. B1G expansion ...... originally was looking at USC Trojans and Oregon Ducks .... no Bruins. But unfortunately the entire LA market not leaving behind UCLA school. Hey, how about USC, UCLA, Oregon and Washington in Big 10. Super conference! (18 teams )
  5. My guess 3-6-6. I assume no divisions. Husker protected rivals: Iowa, Wisconsin, and UCLA. Or else Minnesota instead of UCLA. https://forum.huskermax.com/threads/projecting-a-3-6-6-schedule-for-nebraska.136082/ I think fixed non-conference foes in 2024 ..... UTEP, Colorado and FCS N.Iowa (all at home). And remaining '24 schedule according to DuckTownHusker, in order ..... Wisconsin, at UCLA, at Hoosiers, Illini, at Michigan St, Minnesota, at Penn St, at Michigan, and Iowa. https://schersdd.tripod.com/sig2024.html
  6. modified ..... I enjoyed and funny Simpsons show until 5 years ago or so ..... faded away. Anyway on January 2023, the series was renewed for its 35th and 36th seasons. Sideshow Bob -- USC -- Evil Bumblebee Man -- Iowa Disco Stu -- Purdue Martin Prince -- Illinois Barney Gumble -- Wisconsin -- Town drunk Rainier Wolfcastle -- Nebraska -- acting like Arnold Schwarzenegger ?? Fat Tony -- Ohio St -- Gangster Waylon Smithers -- Penn St -- Gay Moe -- Michigan St -- Bad mood all the time (Bar owner) Ralph -- Minnesota -- You noticed PJ tie ?? Burns -- Michigan Blue Hair Lawyer -- NW Grandpa -- Rutgers Milhouse -- Indy Groundskeeper Willie -- UCLA
  7. Hopefully in Matt era, I will swap Disco Stu (Purdue) and Ralph (Nebraska) And replace Marge to Willie (UCLA)
  8. 2015 thru 2023 .... 2024 thru ??? ....
  9. hmmm ... per David3464 .... https://forum.huskermax.com/threads/projecting-a-3-6-6-schedule-for-nebraska.136082/post-5569573
  10. Potential 3-6-6 schedule per DuckTownHusker ..... https://forum.huskermax.com/threads/projecting-a-3-6-6-schedule-for-nebraska.136082/ what you think ???
  11. 181 days to go https://www.vividseats.com/minnesota-golden-gophers-football-tickets-huntington-bank-stadium-8-31-2023--sports-ncaa-football/production/4172226?wsUser=1011&utm_source=fbschedules&utm_medium=affiliate
  12. Mary Surratt, who was convicted of taking part in the conspiracy which led to the assassination of Abe Lincoln. Trial ..... sentenced to death, June 30th 1865. She was hanged ... July 7th 1865. Death row, 8 days. Approved, backed by U.S. constitution
  13. Convicted murder, average of 18 years death row. Not 18 days nor 18 months but 18 years ! Late 19th century laws, convicted murder. Next day or two, hanging or firing squad. The same U.S. constitution.
  14. He's now set for court on April 5 ..... what year ?? Molasses=Broken U.S. justice Marty McFly: [Reading the newspaper] "Within two hours of his arrest, Martin McFly Jr. was tried, convicted and sentenced to fifteen years in the state penitentiary."? Within two hours? Doc: The justice system works swiftly in the future now that they've abolished all lawyers. Better Call Saul
  15. Row, row, row your boat Gently down the stream Merrily merrily, merrily, merrily Life is but a PJ dream Captain Rodent ....
  16. Washington Comrades Next year, need to change Chiefs. Just like Redskins. KC Cornhuskers ??
  17. From SI article .... SEC administrators are expected to determine a format this spring. While many administrators are now leaning to move to a division-less, nine-game conference schedule, additional revenue from ESPN is a missing piece in that decision. With more inventory—an extra league game—the conference wants more cash. In the nine-game format, each team would play three permanent opponents and a rotation of six others, assuring that each member would meet every team in the league twice in a four-year cycle—once at home and once away. Hmmmm .... Exactly the same format as proposed Big 10 schedule. SEC=16 teams .... B1G=16 teams. If approved, good chance Husker schedule will be a permanent opponents .... Iowa, Gophers and Badgers. Or perhaps NW instead of UW. see https://fbschedules.com/2024-oklahoma-football-schedule/ Of course SEC keep Red River Rivalry (permanent foes). And I think bedlam too .... non-conference Gooners vs OkieLite (annual). Just like Hawkeyes vs Cyclones.
