  1. Sounds old fashioned, but damn, not much loyalty to Carl. "Hey Carl, thanks for the hire after the baggage and all, btw, I quit, heading to USC.
  2. Personally, I like being in the Big Ten. Better fit for the Huskers, I think. Not many teams in the B12 I'll miss, the 'Ol lady is a KU alum, so I'll miss that game once a season. Other than that, nah, not so much. (If the B12 would have kept Beebe a few more years, there wouldn't be a B12. )
  3. Too much emphasis placed on "stars". How do you "star" heart and the good old-fashioned "want to" ?
  4. A huge problem that I see, is that we have at best a mediocre QB. I have to stop and remember the No. 2 quarterbacks name. We have a running back who runs the wildcat and even gets under center to PITCH the ball to the Quarterback ! ( I mean what the hell is that? ) An O-line that can't pass protect all that well, but it's OK, cuz it matches the quarterback who can't pass well . There has been little to no improvement on the Offensive side of the ball.
  5. Honestly couldn't say with a sense of TRUE knowledge, but (and I hate to do this) but NU used tons of walkons and almost a full team of "Non starred" recruits in the dynamic years. Recruiting slipped under Solich and is being rebuilt to this day. Player developement is my concern.
  6. Of all that was written, that's what you came up with? Yeah, (if it makes you feel better) it's ALL about me. I schemed both offensive and defensive game plans. I'm taking this one personally.
  7. Yes Sir, after today's fiasco--there needs to be such a "ball". But don't worry, theres enough players and staff to carry it.
  8. Seriously guy's, I'm sorry I drank the kool-aid so much that I thought the coaching staff had an understanding of what was on the line today. First, Hats off to Michigan, (They understood what was on the line, and what was important) Were some calls that left me to a little head scratching tho. I just thought we had a coaching staff and players that would have the Huskers prepared for what was ahead of them,-- guess not, Am getting tired of "hearing " what weapons we have, but not seeing them. Am getting tired of hearing how good we are, but yet stiil hearing we are having a player "out of position". Don't really care to hear about how fans don't get the game within the game. I know what I'm watching. It's a train wreck, Seriously wondering about Carl and Beck. The prepardness of this team comes into question and answers are short.
  9. Welcome, I'm also hoping for a GREAT game !! May there be no injuries, hope BOTH teams play to their fullest potential, and GO BIG RED !
  10. Give me some of that kool aid Your welcome to all of the kool aid I have !!
  11. Please, just please, let the uniform changes just die. Simpler IS better, AND the Huskers are the Huskers !!!!
  12. Huskers win by 10. ( I have tasted the kool-aid , and I liked it ! )
  13. As well as we play on the road, ( Bo has a way of gettin' it done on the road ) We win by 10 tomorrow folks!
  14. Don't worry, as I told the Grandson, it's ok to like more than one team. It's legal.
  15. Football --Huskers, Jayhawks, Chiefs, Packers, Redskins, Lions. BasketBall--Huskers, Jayhawks, Wichita St., San Antonio Spurs
  16. Have to play "gap" smart against Robinson. Containment is key this game. What's the difference between a football and a cold? Brandon Kinnie can catch a cold.
  17. Agree, just NEED to get thru this game (with a victory) and get out of "Happy ( ) Valley.
  18. After a loss to an unranked team ( who in all reality, shouldn't have been even close to us ) I'm lookin' for that old can of whoop a** to come out and be opened. Sorry for the problems in Happy Valley, certainly understand the anger and turmoil there, but after kickoff---it's on!
  19. Understand the intent here, but have to disagree with the idea. As volatile as this situation is -- the Huskers need to show up, play their hearts out, secure a victory, then leave Happy Valley.
  20. Afraid the work load is getting awfully heavy for Rex. Even Superman gets tired and dinged up.
  21. Sure, there are more attractive names for the Heisman, but for the Huskers, Rex is definitely the MVP !!
