+1 While I respect Tommy...he's taking a swipe at a program because it's not up to what it was when he played...... 1. in a different conference 2. under a different coach 3. playing different oponents 4. in a different era of football So, unfortunately...he lacks perspective....and while he has more than most of us being closer to the team and the program than we are...he still clearly has no idea what it takes to be a head coach. I think Bo saying this is defending, not the program...but the players. Tommy disrespected them with his comments imho. I started to read this thread and only got this far. Tommie didnt disrespect the players, he was talking coaches. I side with Tommie on this. What he said had NOTHING to do with comparing to when he played. How do you make this sh#t up? Tommie is right. How do you not make changes to ty and help the team. Why does Bo have to be so f'ing stubborn? He said nothing different than what 100 threads and 1000 posts have said right here on this board. I hope that all ex players show there disgust for what has happened to this program over the last 6 years. Their voices are heard and our voices are not.

I learned (again) that Josh Mitchell shouldn't be on the field. We have a very poor evaluation process if he is the best person to be on the field. He was noticeably limping around on the field and didnt do the right thing and take himself out. Then by no surprise he gets burned for a td. Again.

Difference situations. Frank looked like he was moving in a positive direction away from what wasn't working. Bo seems to be stuck and from the looks of it, unwilling to change. This^ Bo has, over a body of 6 years, shows to be going backwards. His steadfast belief that his 2 gap, man cover works shows, IMO, an inability to ever get better than we have seen. Possibly worse as recruiting takes a hit for our national tv blow out losses. IIRC we have given up almost 2400 yards and 190 points in our last 4 out of 5 (not counting Southern Miss). We flat out suck. The fans know it, sports writers know it and the nation as a whole knows it. Now, what does the AD do about it. +1 lo. Exactly what I was thinking. The AD has no ties to Bo and this staff. I am confident that if he decides to make changes he will have tons of support.

Santos made a lot of tackles. He was the only backer out there most of the time. If someone is crossing over the middle, one of the 6 db's needs to see this and react to it.

Calvin Jones and Ahman Green. But this kid is the real deal.

#7 is wrong. How can 1 LB fill all the holes? Four linemen, 1 backer, and 6 db's for almost the entire game. If you are gonna armchair QB, at least get your facts straight. Sheesh....

I didn't read all of these posts so if I say something that's already been said, I apologize. I learned that.....Josh Mitchell shouldn't be on the field. He missed more tackles than I care to count. He made one good play all game. He even got knocked on his butt a couple times right at the LOS with just a slight shove. We have got to have better than this. Don't we?
