I thought I heard it was 18. This class with attrition could possibly get to 20. I pray we get it to 20 Well I thought I heard 16 so even 18 was pleasant to hear. 20 sounds amazing. Right now we have 15 open spots which means we can sign 18.

At the risk of reading WAAAAY to much into one sentense, I'll grasp at a straw and HOPE that "putting the ball on the edge" is indicative of Langs figuring out - to some extent - that being an Inside Zone team in college is not a good fit most of the time.

Seemed like everything was heading this way for some time so not surprising. There have been a lot of good things said about Lee. Sometimes there are a lot of good things said about guys who haven't played that doesn't end up meaning much. Hopefully that is not the case here. I don't really have a strong opinion one way or the other at this point. I got to watch parts of the Spring Game but haven't had a chance to watch the whole thing yet. But even then, it seems like the defenses weren't offering much resistance so I'm not sure that says a lot either. For me, I'm going to have to see 2-3 "real" games - which won't include Arkansas State or maybe even Northern Illinois. But he seems to do some things that can make a QB - and an offense - look good. Gets rid of the ball fast. Seems to be pretty accurate. I - along with others - have been saying for years that if we can just get it to our receivers with a chance to do something after the catch, we would have something. He seems to be able to do that pretty well. It will also be interesting to see how things around him come together. There is quite a bit of concern about the OL. And we've struggled to have much of a running game whether the OL is playing well or not. So I'll be watching to see if Lee is asked to be part of the offense or to carry the offense. That might make quite a bit of difference as well.

Just remember this next year if you think there's a more talented player sitting the bench. It very well might be the way coach needs to teach the players what the right attitude is. Am I remembering this right - didn't we have a pretty extensive pre-bowl practice schedule? Practiced a lot during finals week which is usually some off time? I'm not saying that excuses the attitude but it seems like I recall there being some comments from media guys about it being out-of-the-norm.

So is 3 or 4 your official number?
