  1. 6??? I see Wisconsin, Northwestern, Michigan, Nebraska, Michigan State and Rutgers.
  2. I don't think moving the kick back without changing the line for the 2 point conversion will change much. Most team - except maybe Chip Kelly - will still kick most of the time. If they would have moved to the one-and-a-half or especially the one, I think teams would go for two more. Perhaps if teams miss a PAT they'll be more likely to go for two the next time but I don't think it's a huge thing for now.
  3. No longer available. Do you recall what it was? All it said was something about liking the southern hospitality in Mississippi, Just guessing this is one of the guys he was checking in on.
  4. They didn't duck us. They were contractually obligated to play in the Rose Bowl. There was no National Championship Game before the BCS. Pretty sure he's talking about the Big 10, not Michigan specifically. That the B1G - and Pac-10 - refused to sign on to the Bowl Coalition because they wanted to keep their Rose Bowl matchup. Then they cried when the got left out.
  5. I thought the article was harder on the class than it deserves - at least yet. A bunch of those guys are still on the team. It seems safe to say that Abdullah will be the only star of of the class but it produced a decent number of solid starters. It's crazy to look at how many guys have battled injuries from that class. I'm sure people will have their speculations but that has to be at least some plain old bad luck. Jackson, Reeves, Santos, Sterup, Turner and Williams are all guys that should be in the rotation this year but have been slowed by injuries. That's limited the class' overall effectiveness but they can finish out on a high note. Bondi has been a decent player and Davie really came on last year. Stafford was a solid player while he was here Price is another one who'll likely be in the rotation this year With AA and those four plus the six above, that's 11 out of 20. 50% is pretty standard so, while it was lacking in top end talent, it probably won't fare as badly in producing contributors. Also, Green and Moore turned into pretty solid players, although obviously didn't help Nebraska. We definitely haven't gotten a lot other than AA so far but I'll wait until they've all played their last game to judge for sure.

  7. Unfortunately, out of Nebraska and its six border states, five of them are in the bottom two lists of the last quote. And when you expand to the 500 mile radius you get six more states on those last two lists. Kansas, Missouri and Illinois are the only three 500 mile radius states not in one of those last two lists.
