  1. What do people not like about PJ Smith? I think he's a really solid athlete back there making plays.
  2. We took advantage of a call the refs made, which more times than not they call that PI, even if MSU fans are pissed when a DB and WR get tangled more times than not it's defensive PI, that's just how it is if you watch football enough you see it every game. And how many times of the years have other teams taken huge of advantage of calls against us that has resulted in points or even a win. Also these are the types of games I'm excited to see us win again, over the past decade we've come more accustome to losing these games but now we're learning how to win again just like the good old days, I'm not saying we're the 90's Huskers, but it's good to see us win these close ones the way we used to.
  3. Where's the love for Ronny Kellogg? C'mon man. You monster, I spit "water" all over my computer screen!
  4. Twitter is blowing up that Ameer is suited up and out there warming up so we'll have to see if he still starts or they still give Braylon the nod if Ameer's really dinged up. Just don't like how the line has been moving on this game in the last 12 hours in MSU's favor, makes me think something is afoot. Also according to Sip, Ameer is taking handoffs and looking healthy, good news to hear.
  5. From what I heard sounds like Braylon is getting the start today due to an Ameer injury. If this ends up being the case don't sell Braylon short.
  6. Tonight was great, this was one of the most satisfying wins as Husker fan I've had in a while, I still have sour grapes after going to Ann Arbor last year, I couldn't be happier that I was wrong in my prediction.
  7. 3 games, actually (one by a single point to that year's nat'l champ, the others on the road). And it's a bit different losing a few games when that 10-3 season is sandwiched between 2 nat'l championship seasons... Everything that is said here is by someone who gets it, thank you! You have a few losses in a season it's not a big deal as long as you've won something of substance before that season and then turn it around and do it again.
  8. Two dropped balls, a lucky interception, and a terrible penalty and you were able to divine all that from the NU/Nebraska game? No wonder you're so miserable... Oh believe these thoughts go deeper than just the Northwestern game there guy, get back to me after the Michigan and sing this same tune.
  9. Is this Reddit? Reddit? I dont know what that means. Haha. that was an overreaction to an overreaction. You don't know Reddit? This saddens me.
  10. I don't know how this game will be much different than last year
  11. Was that when we were down by 5? The idea is when you're down by 5 there's no difference between down 4 or 5 because you need a TD to take the lead either way so the PAT only makes it a 4 point game instead of 5, but if you go for 2 and get it you're only down a FG.
  12. S**t happens. You don't play your best every single week. Sure, being disappointed is fine, but the nuclear meltdown on this board is wholly uncalled for Exactly. Urban's Buckeyes just beat Purdue by the skin of their teeth so obviously he needs to get canned too. Urban's won something that matters, Urban can afford to slip because he's proven he can win big time football, Bo hasn't end of story. You guys act like this is the first time we haven't played a complete game, I'm not mad that it's happened once, I'm mad that every year under Bo we continue to not show up every week and play the way we should and because of that we can't take that next step. It's fine if you don't show up each week as long as the end of the year you're winning coference titles or competing in BCS bowl games but we're not.
  13. You don't get the fact that your life depends on the lives of 18-22 year olds and that other than one play on defense and two special teams fumbles this game wasn't that close. Keep on hatin You're right I'm the only Husker fan that really cares, and 1 point game isn't close? You're right a .5 point game would've been better. Enjoy your delusion that our program is just fine. Enjoy your delusion that you have any idea what you're talking about. Everything I've said is true, you can either accept it and continue to sit on your hands and wait, or desire for better. This program can go much higher, I'm tired of settling for less.
  14. I guess I don't get how Bo is responsible for the three fumbles that kept this game close. Or playing LB on three one play that northwestern had a big td on because he got caught up in ths line garbage in a defense that had owned the offense up until that point. Remember trolls Skye up after losses and you are two Weeks late Yes I forgot that nothing that happens during the game is a head coaches fault, by that logic why even have one?

  16. You don't get that we were clearly the more talented team, but got outcoached? You don't get that we should've won that game by 3 or 4 touchdowns? You don't get that we are one of the most undisciplined college football teams in the country? You don't get that our coaching staff is inadequate? You don't get that we are lucky as Hell to win a game we had no business winning? You don't get our program is worth way more than what we saw today? You don't get that this coach continues to fail each season when it comes to winning something of substance? What more do you need to get?
  17. I know Bo was very critical of Beck and how he used him during the tOSU, way too much pocket passing, he wanted to see more bootleg stuff, play action, screen stuff than just having Taylor sit back and try to live or die in the pocket.
  18. I'd just like to make one point in all this, Harvey is not the bad guy here even if people are trying to make him out to be.
  19. And honestly guys I know it's been asked I don't know about the whole being too late for a reshirt thing, this is just the information I've been given, but I don't think the coaches would be discussing it if it wasn't possible
  20. Coaches are currently on the fence on what to do with Rex. They are split between playing him sparingly and carefully watching his injured knee and exploring an option to get him a medical. I know he hasn't redshirted yet, but the coaches want to explore gaining a year of elibility for him for next year. The thought process is that the coaches feel that Ameer has done exceptionally well and could handle the workload with Braylon and Imani for the remainder of the season, but have no idea what the future holds for any of them and are reluctant to sit Rex. They love the thought of having Rex next year obviously for what he does on the field, but what is being discussed more is his leadership and work ethic that could help motivate over the off-season. I personally don't believe they will sit Rex for the rest of the season, but I just wanted to let you guys know that it is 100% definitely being discussed. They feel that if Rex were coming back next year and all of the starters we have back on offense, the fans, the athletic department, and the university would ease up on their pressure. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. My thoughts are that if Rex plays, the coaches don't believe they have another year The coaches have been exploring their options since the tOSU game and speaking with Rex and his family. They want to know positively that he would receive a medical shirt though before making a decision. The medical staff is currently giving Rex a rigorous analysis and questioning after each practice to determine pain and mobility and reporting back to the coaches.
  21. Why don't we wait until Bo beats Northwestern before we declare he "gets it"
  22. Cause Stoops had a better team right away than Pelini... Exactly. Stoops had the personel he needed from the beginning, basically handed to him. Unlike Pelini, it was "Hey Callahan is gone, keep what you want, and hire who you need, but keep Shawn Watson" Eventually he got smart and helped him find another job and promoted Tim Beck. Another guy who had no experience, but he proved everyone wrong with a dynamic offense. Bo's best defenses came from Callahan players...
  23. The excuses being made for failure on here make me laugh, Bob Stoops got it done at Oklahoma right away, why can't Bo at Nebraska?
