  1. FYI - Benning on Hail Varsity this AM: Dang, man.
  2. Might change the narrative, but not the crime. The university would still be forced to cut ties with him, but I ain't gonna lie....if most dudes came home and found another dude in my bed with the wife, they ain't chokin the dude.
  3. This. Same with all of them. They are human beings, and have the same hang ups, vices, and blemishes as the normal Joe. They just happen to make tons more money and have a platform that elevates them in society.
  4. This is one hell of a post to get to #777, but it seems to be well on its way.
  5. This might be the first football post I ever suggested get moved into the Woodshed. It's about to get uuuuuugly.
  6. This is Jake Peetz after some kid sees him paying 8 bucks for a checkmark and Pricilla Joseph's account info:
  7. Not going to get into Twitter at this point (that belongs in the Woodshed), but I was not believing that Rhule was the HC because it came from the dumpster fire known as Twitter as well, so...
  8. If I were him, I'd want to make it on my own at a smaller school OR be on this staff (if there is room) and any success translates to his career.
  9. That's pretty damn harsh, even for a rumor. Don't think this is one to be posting, guys.
  10. Even funnier - I searched Google, they still have a link to Duval's profile up: But then, if you click on it:
  11. Watched this last night. Much props to the man to admit he was having marital issues publicly.
  12. Seriously? You do know that Minnesota is an 8-4 team, right? Why does Rhule have to win his first game but Frost only won one of his season openers?
  13. I love how all these fans are like "This guy sucks, this guy sucks, this guy sucks," but each of these guys, regardless of how they performed in the NFL, were all at one point in time considered good enough coaches to be NFL coaches. I'm gonna trust the guy who is a proven evaluator of talent, has coached 3 10 + win teams, won a conference championship, and is well respected in the business by everyone without the last name Shanle...
  14. Or maybe her husband said it was a stupid thing to go on social media while it's possible he and his current employer (or future employers) are working out a legal binding contract? Social media is such a clown show.
  15. Palmer was 3rd to the 2nd receiver on the Buckeyes who statistically had good stats, but not as good as Palmer's.
  16. Not sure how he was THIRD team all conference by the coaches, unless there's some butt hurt coaches out there. Dude finished the season comparable with Marvin Harrison Jr. He had One less catch Only 114 yards fewer 3 less TDs A higher average YPC basically one fewer catch per game and less than 10 yards less average yards per game How, sway?!? Receiving Index Player G REC YDS TD LONG AVG/C REC/G AVG/G 1 Jones,Charlie (Purdue) 12 97 1199 12 60 12.4 8.1 99.9 2 Harrison Jr.,Marvin (Ohio State) 12 72 1157 12 58 16.1 6 96.4 3 Palmer,Trey (Nebraska) 12 71 1043 9 87 14.7 5.9 86.9
  17. And here's the 2019 OT Thriller between OU and Baylor. in 2019, they played a ranked opponent 3 times. Just so happened that OU was ranked the two times they played them, and then they lost the Sugar Bowl to Georgia by two scores. They had a 25 point lead on OU in the regular season and had the game won but then Jalen Hurts went unconscious and erased that 25 point lead in the 2nd half. Baylor was the 13th ranked team in the country at that time.
  18. This is the opening game of year 2 of the Rhule regime in Baylor. Note more push on the defensive line, as well as some emphasis on running the ball.
  19. So I did some looking at Rhule's year one 2017 Baylor team that only won a single game. These guys were a few missed plays from upsetting the #3 ranked team in the country, and had a lead on them for a bit in the 3rd quarter. This is an OU team that had a Heisman Trophy winner, CeeDee Lamb, and Trey Sermon that went to the CFB playoff that year and lost to Georgia.
