  1. It's pretty simple - RB knows that Bo respects him and will allow him to devote a certain amount of energy to his ministry outside of football and won't get in the way or demand that he cool it down. At it's simplest level he's using Bo for his own goals - doesn't mean he has to like or respect him. and you know this for a fact? He pretty much said as much in his interview with Sharp and Benning a few months ago after Bo hired him to come to YSU with him I haven't heard the interview but I remember someone referencing it. If that's the case, it casts further doubt on my perception of Brown as a good Christian. For me, a good leader is someone who stands up for their principles and adapts their beliefs as times change of new material comes to light. Seems to me that even if Bo is allowing Brown to continue his ministry, he still wouldn't be someone who turns a blind eye to someone calling a final team meeting berate the administration. Disrespect is disrespect in any language and calling someone a cunthursday is disrespectful. If Brown made the calculated decision to follow that mouth breather because it allows him to devote energy to his ministry, it only makes me question his principles even more. You don't think he's a good Christian because he's trying to use a less-than-perfect situation/man to further his own desire to show people Jesus? Does that mean that Christians shouldn't use the internet? After all, the internet contains pornography and has caused people to kill themselves. Does that mean that Christians shouldn't wear Nike or buy Macs or eat chocolate? After all, those products come at least in part from slave labor. Does that mean that Christians shouldn't work at public universities? Those universities probably promote worldviews that are against Christian doctrine. It's called trying to redeem a situation that ISN'T devoted to the cause of Christianity, and using it towards that cause anyways. I don't get how that is a knock on someone's Christian faith. Oh boo hoo. Calm down. I don't know Ron Brown but since this is the internet and we're allowed to anonymously speculate about peoples moral fiber, I voiced my opinion. It is odd, to me, that Ron Brown followed Pelini. Their character traits don't seem to match. And if Brown is using pelini to "further his own desire to show people jesus" and "trying to redeem a situation that isn't devoted to the cause of Christianity," then I question his principles. If this is so important, go be a effing preacher, not a football coach. Brown is a coach because his megaphone is louder and that irritates me. Maybe it's not a knock on his faith, maybe it is, but whatever it is, Brown made the strategic decision to take a position that allowed him to stay in the public eye seemingly in contrast to the life of a humble preacher.

  3. The real knock on Brown is how he followed Bo to Youngstown. How can such a good Christian like Brown follow that insubordinate mouth breather? I'll never understand how guy that calls his boss a CUNThursday is worthy of Browns ministry. Maybe Brown thinks Bo needs saving? Who knows. Reggie Davis is the real deal, though. I think Abdullah would say the same if he were playing next season.
  4. I think you're right on point about your OL and DL talent. I also think it's something that Riley is cognizant of, as well. He said in his last press conference that the line is the most important part of the field. Look at OSU and the Patriots - great line play on both sides and both at the top of their sports. I think Cav and Hughes have some tough sledding ahead of them but there is talent in these positions. It will be really cool to see how the Red shirt talent from last year (gates & farmer) make an impact with a year of good coaching.
  5. He is taking the same position at UNC. So it was the pay? He also killed my father...and raped my mother! So did I. This blows. I was just talking mad s*** about Ohio doing the same thing to that running back. Riley sold Warren so hard. This just sucks.
  6. Thank you. I was just thinking that. The more interesting part of this graphic was where the 4 and 5 stars come from. They're predominantly from the southeast school.
  7. I saw a video from a Rivals camp. The dude motors. Has the frame to put JJ Watt type weight on. He's going to be a valuable asset in the future.
  8. I'd be VERY surprised if Stoltenberg didnt end up on the o-line. Right tackle i would guess. Why? Sounds like a baseless assertion.
  9. I never understood the play calling from the last administration. Kyler Reed had a ton of td's and catches his sophomore year and then vanished. It's like they forgot how to attack the middle of the field. I think that's a huge area to exploit in B1G play and one reason I think Riley's offense will do really well. Matchups were huge in the nfl and I think they're going to be a big part of the offensive identity moving forward. Looking forward to seeing what Snyder can do on Saturdays. He has the same measurables as Gronk coming out of high school.
  10. This kid is sick. Cant wait to see what he can do with 20lbs on that frame.
  11. This whole conversation is missing the larger issue. Whatever was said, or how the Neals chose to interpret it, when they say "you cant get into Michigan without football" the answer should have been "duh" because football is the only reason we're talking about this kid. The intersting thing is that this came from Mattison. As a coach under the old regime that gave up some of the worst performances in UM history, it seems incredibly short sighted and arrogant to show up repping the "Michigan" brand when the last 8 years are but a shadow of the historic success that UM is now using to recruit.
  12. Love the excitement...even though this is a picture of all the goons in the south endzone.
  13. I thought they were only taking 19 recruits in this class. Can someone please explain?
  14. Jesus...kids these days. What does that tweet even mean?
  15. Brown and Sanders are good coaches, but I know what you mean. And more importantly, I think Rilley takes advise from his staff, while Bo just wanted yes men. Don't think Bo necessarily wanted yes men but he did not respect/listen to the advice they were giving him because he thought he was the smartest man in the room (and to be truthful overall he probably was). He hired people he was comfortable with, which is a good idea in concept, but he implemented it poorly. Agree totally. Riley has known these guys for years. What's different is he's comfortable with them and they're at the top of their game.
  16. thanks iam not bother with those kind of comments. He will thank me later I'm just playin. Really looking forward to seeing what Stan can do on the field. With the departure of Bell, we need a good deep threat. Begin google search at 1:45 pm. Conclude opinion at 2:04pm. This is great. who are you? Everyone. No one. The pinnacle of existence.

  18. It's awesome and hilarious how active this kids mom is on this site. I would be excited if I were in her position, too. Mainly because I could wear high heels without being judged but also happy that Stan gets a coach like Williams.
  19. "hey finding nemo, quit swimming. Deandre the blowfish, quit swimming" Great quote from that mic'd up video.
