I can see that you are very confused in this conversation - probably best if you step away. I didn't accuse you of saying anything - I just agreed with a portion of your post, stating that it sucks when workers die in the line of duty. I then compared healthcare workers to other front line workers (fireman/police officers) and offered an example that is very extreme of how those deaths could be avoided hoping you didn't think that it was a viable option.

It sucks that even one healthcare work has died - but this virus happened and not myself or anyone else on this board choose it or wanted it to strart. Fireman and police officers die daily and again it sucks and was not chosen by us. Should they step back and let every fire burn itself out.

again this in not how this works. You have shown another chart that isn't directly relevant to the point. The $$$ that we get from BTN are tv revenue and your chart isn't about that. That would be like me stating that of those Big10 teams on that chart NU was the most profitable which is true however doesn't have a single factor in BTN payouts. NU is banking on their tradition and their plan to have a solid football team going forward. You do understand that win you buy a stock you win or loss based on what the stock does going forward not past history.

Who says that Big12 is our goal. Our goal may be to play by our terms and enjoy the revenue that we deserve - rather that be with the big12 / sec / or pro minor league. I don't know what the revenue share will be going forward but if cancelling an entire year of sports doesn't effect that amount I would be surprised. College football will see big changes over the next 24 months.

You do understand that our revenue stream is in the top portion of the big10. It's not like we collect $52 million and bring in $0 to the pot.

If other conferences play football and NU also plays football then they will look very smart. Nebraska is committed to testing and if both teams go in clean then they will come out clean.
