    while there are several terrible examples of right wing plots to perform violent acts...there is nothing specific regarding violence due to a Democratic House. And, the author is not a WaPo staffer, but a regular contributor for the Southern Poverty Law Center...

    that is quite the quote! from what I have witnessed in the past 2-3 months, his popular support has far crossed the confines of the borders of Texas...Beto received funds from virtually everywhere (including a few dollars from right here in Central NE ) and his platform could be tweaked enough to gain backing from the whole spectrum left of center...

    Sounds like a bad fall. She is 85 years old...my wife's grandmother(very similar physically to RBG) took a fall with virtually the same diagnosis when she was 82 or 83 and was never able to regain her mobility to the same extent.

    thanks schriznoeder, and I believe that someone has mentioned that before...but aren't presidents exempt from filing while in office? (read/heard that somewhere) so then we are talking about 2016 or prior years...which would not fall under the clause?

    don't know much about her...but I could get behind this: What she's known for: She’s the cautious centrist in a caucus full of characters.

    serious question...why does it matter? if it shows that he is worth less than he claims, or if it shows that he paid less in taxes than he should have, or if it shows that he uses the tax dodges that all (ok most) extremely wealthy use...what will it really change or have any effect on?

    there should be free ID cards for people that want/need them even if it is not tied to voting...

    this, imo, is the problem with the entire political stage right now... "you did/didn't do such and such (which was bad) so now we won't/aren't going to do such and such either (which is also bad)"... nobody gives a sh*t anymore about what is good for the people, just which side wins
