Yeah, I saw there was a setting for that so I set it to merge if they're within one minute.  I thought it might fix some of the double-posting - which I haven't noticed much recently.  However, there have been several times that I'd like to have two separate replies and it merges them.  So I'm not sure if I really like it or not.

I kind of like it as well; it saves space and it's not terribly difficult to manage finding replies since you get a notification for every one. 

Mav: can you shorten the time setting inbetween posts so it catches obvious double posts? 

I'll have to check but I think the setting was only in minutes so I'm pretty sure 1 is the lowest value possible.
